SUMMARY:Preparation for MERF Luncheon Performance
DESCRIPTION:On April 18\, we will meet to prepare our song set for our performance for the MERF Luncheon (April 29).\nREMEMBER THIS IS A DATE CHANGE DUE TO UKULELE FESTIVALS THAT ARE SCHEDULED ON DATES WE HAD REGULAR PRACTICE SESSIONS.\nWe will meet at Moon Lake Library at 1pm CDT on April 18. Our sessions are always open to guests and prospective members. Players of any level–beginner (even if you have never picked up a ukulele)\, novice\, experienced–are welcome. We have loaner ukuleles that can be used during the session.\

SUMMARY:Luau at the Possum Emporium
DESCRIPTION:This is going to be a blast! We are playing at a luau to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the Possum Emporium. \nTime: Set up by 10:45 to start playing at 11am. We will play until around 12:15\, break for lunch and play more after lunch. We can play as long as we like. \nSetup: We will be playing on the front porch. Chairs will be provided. The space is small-ish and if the weather is nice we can spread out onto the pavement. (I’d say the space is about the size we had at the MERF House) \nAddress:1774 County Road 642\nMentone\, Alabama \nDate: May 23 \nLunch: Lunch will be provided for the players. All others-plates are $10.\nMenu: roast pig (a whole one) and Hawaiian sides \nWe need to get a headcount so we’ll know how many chairs we will need. If you know already that you will not be able to come\, please let me know ASAP. It is Memorial Day weekend so some of us are likely to be out of town. Please let Lila or myself know.
